Droplets of Mercy Expands Humanitarian Presence in Africa with New Office in Kenya
Nairobi, Kenya — Droplets of Mercy has officially opened its new regional office in Kenya, marking a significant expansion of its humanitarian operations across Africa. The new office is led by Country Director Mohammad Tariq alongside a three-person local operational team. Together, they will direct relief and development efforts across the region, including in Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Burundi, and surrounding nations.

The establishment of a physical presence in Kenya will enable Droplets of Mercy to implement rapid-response and sustainable development projects directly. Priority initiatives include:
- Clean Water Infrastructure: Constructing long-term water stations to tackle water scarcity.
- Healthcare Services: Performing sight-restoring cataract surgeries and operating mobile medical clinics in remote regions.
- Sustainable Development: Empowering vulnerable populations through structured community support beyond temporary food distribution.
"This office represents our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve," said Mohamed Noorani, CEO of Canada office, during the inauguration in Kenya. "We are not here for short-term fixes. With Br. Mohammad Tariq and our on-the-ground team leading operations, we are building long-term relationships to empower families, maximize the impact of every donation, and maintain absolute transparency in our operations."
The new office is now fully operational with dedicated local staff on site.
