REPORT MISCONDUCT
Droplets of Mercy was built on faith, trust, and selfless service. Our donors entrust us with their precious resources to reach those who need them most — and that trust is sacred to us.
We recognise that maintaining this trust requires constant vigilance. That is why we have established a clear and secure mechanism for anyone — beneficiaries, partners, staff, volunteers, or members of the public — to raise concerns with confidence.
Every report received is reviewed seriously by a designated team, independent from the matter concerned. We are committed to protecting all those who speak up in good faith and to taking appropriate action whenever shortfalls are established.
Droplets of Mercy's complaints mechanism covers a wide range of concerns, including:
Misuse of funds, fraud, theft, bribery, or any unauthorized financial transactions involving Droplets of Mercy resources.
Harassment, discrimination, abuse of authority, or inappropriate behaviour by any member of our team, board, or volunteers.
Any concern related to the protection of children, vulnerable adults, or beneficiaries who interact with our programs.
Misrepresentation of program impact, falsified reports, diversion of aid, or failure to deliver services as committed to donors.
We commit to engage with everyone involved and to act as swiftly as possible to conclude all cases. However, the timeline may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the complaint.
You will be asked to provide detailed information when filing the report. If you prefer, identify that you would like to remain anonymous.
If your report relates to safeguarding, fraud or other misconduct, a specialist team will be assigned. Caring and protection measures are put in place for survivors and witnesses.
The specialist team will assess the information provided and determine whether to proceed with an investigation, and who should be involved. An investigation will be started, if appropriate.
Progress reports are issued with recommendations. Once the investigation is concluded, decisions will be made on appropriate measures to be implemented. You will be kept updated from time to time throughout this process.
All records related to the case, including lessons learned, are documented and stored in a secure system. You will be informed when your case has been concluded.
If you prefer to reach us directly, our dedicated integrity team is available to receive your reports in complete confidence.
All reports are handled in strict confidence. You may report anonymously — no personal information is required.
