Since the outbreak of conflict in 2014, Yemen has been plunged into a severe humanitarian crisis. Over 21.6 million people, including women and children, are in need of humanitarian assistance. The ongoing violence, economic collapse, and food insecurity have led to widespread malnutrition and disease. Over 17 million people cannot afford sufficient food, and 4.5 million are internally displaced. The health system is on the brink of collapse, with nearly half of all health facilities only partially functioning or completely out of service.
