    ABOUT THE TRIP

    Support Children in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is home to thousands of underprivileged children who need support, love, and resources to thrive. This Mercy Trip will take you directly to these communities to make a tangible difference in the lives of these children and their families.

You'll visit orphanages, participate in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) projects, distribute food to local communities, and spend quality time with children. Your presence brings hope and reminds these communities that they are not forgotten.

    Background

Sri Lanka, despite its natural beauty, faces significant socio-economic challenges. Many rural communities live in poverty with limited access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and sufficient food. Children are particularly affected, with many growing up without the resources needed for proper education and development.

Droplets of Mercy is committed to bringing sustainable support to these communities. Our WASH projects provide clean water and sanitation facilities, while our food programs ensure families have access to adequate nutrition. By visiting orphanages and engaging directly with children, our volunteers bring not just material resources but also hope and joy.
